Mahdi Akhavan

Mahdi Akhavan Sales is a Canadian entrepreneur and angel investor who has been working in the tech, venture capital, and business sectors since 1998. He is the founder and CEO of MBS Capital, a venture capital and private equity firm based in Toronto, Canada. He has a passion for investing in innovative technologies and early-stage companies.

Mahdi has invested in many early stage companies such as Instacart, Hootsuite, and Interaxon. He has also been involved in the development of several successful companies such as Wealthsimple, Xpert Financial, and the online meal delivery service, Chefs Plate.
